1979 PT. Chitose Indonesia Manufacturing was established to sustain economic and social growth by starting to produce high-tech chairs.
With partners from Japan (Chitose Mfg. Col. Ltd) and domestically, we have worked hard through various types of research, testing and improvement to be able to present the best products produced through high-tech processes.
Stability in quality, safety and health, and beauty are the three superior characteristics of Chitose products which reflect our efforts to satisfy consumer interests and at the same time increase public opinion of your company’s appearance.

Furniture is Chitose's World
Since 1981, Chitose has continued to develop products based on research on furniture ergonomics and deep understanding of the Indonesian market.
Starting from a folding chair, which has become an icon of the Indonesian furniture industry, we have continued to grow and now produce more than 200 variants of hospital furniture and beds. We also produce special buyers according to specifications from customers. The annual production rate reached 1.2 million units in 2013.
Marketing furniture to remote areas, we have a network of distributors and agents spread throughout Indonesia, as well as an export marketing network in 34 countries.
Quality Furniture, For Quality Living
In line with the ever-increasing demand for quality furniture products, we continue to expand our Chitose product range, to include: hotel and restaurant, office, school and residential furniture sets, in addition to the legendary Chitose folding chair. In 2001 we started to produce the best quality hospital beds.

This research and development includes product adjustments without compromising high quality standards. For example, the height of the Chitose school furniture set table can be adjusted without having to change the structure.
